I am a medical officer based in the Cornwall Complex at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
I assess and manage notifiable diseases and undertake infectious disease control work. This includes providing support and care for people with tuberculosis. I also provide clinical input for metallic lead notifications and worked at the Māngere Refugee Resettlement Centre between 1994 and mid-2020, during which time I provided health screening for more than 7000 refugees and asylum seekers.
I have worked in public health since 1987, initially in school health, immigration health and infectious disease control.
