I am a GP who works part time at Auckland Regional Public Health Service. I work at both the Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre and the Cornwall Complex, Greenlane. At the refugee centre I provide medical screening and GP services. At the Cornwell Complex I provide initial assessment, management and triage for notifiable diseases. I enjoy working alongside the range of health professionals and non-clinical staff we have and feel privileged to contribute to improving the health of Auckland residents and newly arrived refugees.
I am originally from Auckland and have mostly studied and worked here, but have also lived and worked rurally in Dargaville and Whangarei. I specialised in general practice as I appreciate the diversity and variety of work and opportunities available to GPs, such as working in public health. Prior to entering medical school I trained as a nurse.
