Medical Operations Manager
I joined Auckland Regional Public Health Service in March 2017 as the medical operations manager, supporting and managing the team of doctors who in turn support the rest of the organisation. I also have a role in supporting the development of a quality culture within our organisation.
I have worked in health for nearly 30 years; starting in oncology as a data manager in the UK before moving to acute hospitals in the mid-90s, where I was a general manager. I have also worked as a manager in the UK’s National Health Service. I have worked in a range of areas from pathology and radiology, through a number of acute specialties, before shifting to community-based services such as urgent care, community care and ambulance services.
