I support a diverse team of people who keep our business activities going. This includes roles in information systems, emergency management, policy, workforce development and business support. Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) has a rapidly growing population, and Auckland Regional Public Health Service must be prepared for disease outbreaks and environmental hazards. We also strive for great public health outcomes. This means no day is the same, making this an exciting and challenging place to work.

I started my career in nursing and, after studying commerce at Auckland University, have held management roles in DHBs and the Ministry of Health. I grew up in Hawke’s Bay and have lived in Auckland for 20 years.
