I am a GP who started work at Auckland Regional Public Health Service in early 2017. I am passionate about wellness and disease prevention so it is exciting to be part of the team, aiming to improve the health of Aucklanders.
My roles include being part of the enteric/disease investigation medical team, carrying out assessment and management team duties, and assisting with the management of mumps and pertussis outbreaks. I also contribute to the website and perform some document checking. I also work part-time at the Refugee Health Screening Services in Mangere as a GP.
For the previous 19 years, I was a GP in Auckland with longer-term roles in Drury and more recently Howick. For the past 11 years I have presented a health segment on the radio.
