General Practitioner
After 19 years as a community GP, I started work at National Public Health Service - Northern Region in early 2017.
I am passionate about wellness and disease prevention so it is exciting to be part of the team, aiming to improve the health of our people.
Areas I currently contribute to include enteric diseases, acute rheumatic fever, outbreaks and house officer supervision. Until mid-2020, I also worked part-time as a GP for the Refugee Health Screening Service at the Māngere Refugee Resettlement Centre.
For 14 years I presented a radio health segment on Newstalk ZB, stopping to allow more time at my sons’ Saturday football games.
