As noted in today’s 1pm update from the Ministry of Health, Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) has confirmed that five people associated with the Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship church have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

ARPHS is investigating the source of the cases and has asked that anyone who attended the following events get tested as soon as possible:

  • Services held at the church in Stoddard Road on 8, 9 or 11 August, and/or

  • A wedding held at the church on Friday 7 August.

ARPHS is grateful for the help of the church, who are providing their full support to the service’s efforts to identify those who attended the above events. These people are being asked to get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible, and to self-isolate if unwell.

It is currently early in the investigation and more information will be made available as it becomes known.

Anyone who attended the above activities and who needs advice on where to get tested should call Healthline on 0800 358 5453. Healthline is a free, 24/7 service with interpreters available.
